Recently Avaya has expanded the warranty period for many of its products. For IP Office and Partner, The warranty period for Common Components (most everything except phones) is 3 YEARS. Phones remain at 1 YEAR. This is from date of manufacture which is embedded in the serial number. So, if you have purchased your new system within two and a half years from an Avaya Business Partner, there is a good chance the common components are covered. Note that this is for Avaya branded product only, any PC or Server would be manufacturers warranty. Shipping would be picked up by the customer as well.
For customer's who have purchased their system from us, there is no charge for replacement equipment, other than the time it takes us to replace and program the replaced items.
If you did not purchase your product from us, we can still attempt to have your product replaced from Avaya. If it is within the time period. there is a good chance we can do this. We do, however charge a handling and shipping charge for this service. For most products this fee is $125.00 per item. Considering some common components cost well over $2,000.00 this is a good option. Only a registered business partner may obtain RMA's from Avaya and replace in warranty items.
We request that you send your item to us with a check for $125 (or pay on line here with a credit card) which we will hold until the item has been accepted by Avaya's RMA service, then we will have them drop ship the replacement directly to you overnight if needed.
